Adelia (Cardinale) Mingione

Adelia (Cardinale) Mingione passed away peacefully in Danbury on March 2, 2026 with her loving sons by her side. Born in Italy on March 27, 1932, she immigrated to Canada in 1955, where she met her beloved husband, Felice before coming to America in 1960 where she devoted her life to creating a warm loving home for her family.

She was recently predeceased by her husband Felice (“Phil), married for almost 68 years.

She is survived by her children and family. She was the loving mother of Michael (Patricia) and Santo. Adelia was the proud cherished grandmother of Michael (Alli), Samantha (Daniel), Timothy (Courtney), Kaitlin (Thomas), Nicholas (Autumn), Madison, Ryan and step grandchildren of Victor (Kim), Elise (Cody) and Andrea. Adelia was also blessed to be the great-grandmother of Jaxon, Fiona, Nolan, Aubrey, Luca, Declan, Maximo, Beckham, Harrison, Bronson and Giovanni.

She always enjoyed cooking for her loving family, great story telling, playing bocce and traveling together making wonderful and endless memories.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Adelia at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM.  Adelia will be laid to rest in her family crypt alongside her beloved husband Felice who predeceased her on January 15, 2026.
